Lakefront Living Realty Ohio Gives Back to the Community
Lakefront Living Realty prides itself on helping clients find their dream lake home for themselves and for their families. We live and breath lakefront living and work hard to make sure that others dreams of living the lakefront lifestyle come true, but one of the more satisfying moments of working for the company comes from giving back to the communities that we surround ourselves with. I, and my company, are proud to say that we have spent precious moments this year helping out these communities and trying to make dreams come true for more than just buying a lake house. Below are just some of the activities that we partake in, and hopefully it will inspire everyone to pitch in a little bit at the next community event!
Just recently when one of our members made his debut on HGTV Lakefront Bargain Hunt, the company sponsored a party to celebrate the debut at a local VFW in order to help raise money for the Unmet Needs Foundation. This program gives financial grants to veterans in financial need and has helped countless veteran families throughout the years. At the party the company and our affiliates including Quality Construction Services, Civista Bank, Skip Howell with Pillar to Post Inspection, and PM Title LLC donated silent auction items, food, and t-shirts to be sold off at reasonable prices to help raise money for the charity. There was also a 50/50 raffle that pulled in almost $200 almost on it’s own! The party was a huge success and raised a total of $865 that went to a veteran family in need!
This August the company will be taking part of a Soles for Souls event at Apple Valley Lake in an attempt to collect new and gently worn shoes to disperse to families in need. Last time this particular event was done over 800 pairs of shoes were collected to give to those in need. This August the goal is 1,000 pairs of shoes! Hopefully the company can help hit that goal this summer!
Recently the company also helped do a highway cleanup in New Albany, pairing up with the Church of the Resurrection in New Albany, donated funds to help support World Missions, supported Father’s Table in Mount Vernon who help disperse meals to those in need, and donated funds to help support local K-9s, and got involved in several other community outreach programs!
This spring was also an exciting time for Lakefront Living Realty as the company sponsored a AAA Parks and Rec youth baseball league, and was coached by one of our very own agents! By donating time, energy and knowledge the company was able to sponsor and help mentor 11 young boys through the spring season, instilling confidence and providing fun! Through hard work and determination “The Lake Team” as it was known, finished the season by winning the Championship!
Lakefront Living Realty and its members have enjoyed giving back to the community so far this year and will continue to do so!
